SKIN DETOX WITH DRY BRUSHING.

Hello everyone
In this blog post, I will be talking about a practice that came to my notice a few months back. I have heard people talking about it in the past but I never really took it seriously.
A strange thing happened to me last month when this particular practice was mentioned in front of me 3 to 4 times and that is when I got curious.
It is a very simple practice with a very simple name DRY BRUSHING.
As I mentioned earlier that I had no idea whatsoever about the how's and why's of dry brushing, I just had a name and that was enough, to begin with.
SO I started learning more about it and trust me I was so impressed. A technique is as simple as tooth brushing which you can do every morning for 5 minutes for a lot of benefits.
Let me put it this way
Dry brushing is a process where you scrub your skin using a brush which helps unclog your pores and excrete all the toxins.
Follow these simple steps:
*USE A NATURAL BRISTLE BRUSH
*DO IT BEFORE YOUR SHOWER
*START FROM YOUR FEET AND MOVE TOWARDS YOUR UPPER BODY.
*DON'T GO OVERBOARD WITH THE SCRUBBING.
* AREAS WHICH ARE SENSITIVE TODAY WILL BE ALRIGHT AFTER 2 OR 3 SESSIONS.
*TAKE A SHOWER AFTERWARDS AND FOLLOW IT UP WITH A MOISTURIZER.

BENEFITS INCLUDE  Increased blood flow, glowing skin, cleansed skin, improved lymphatic flow, cellulite reduction.

I am planning on buying a brush and get started with it. If you also decide in favor of it, I suggest you buy a brush with a long handle to help reach areas like the back of your body.

Please do not scratch your body and do not use a cheap quality brush or you will end up with red irritated skin and that is not what we want.

Feel free to do some research of your own, as I am not an expert and whatever I have mentioned above is the result of all the research I have done.
I will definitely do an updated post In a few months to share what dry brushing did for my body.
                            See you soon๐Ÿ˜Š

ORAL HYGIENE FACTS

Being a dentist,I thought this should be my very first post. Your smile says a lot about you. It hints towards your personality, your nature and sometimes might also reveal what you had in your lunch ๐Ÿ˜‰.      Your oral cavity decides the fate of your other body cavities in a lot of ways. Everything you put in your body goes through your mouth first. Here are the some of the tips you can follow for a healthy mouth and clean teeth:- 1. BRUSHING your teeth harder will not make     them any more whiter than they already are.  Use a light hand while brushing and a technique that actually works( blog post on that soon). 2. KNOW WHEN TO BRUSH.     Without going into the very details, I just want to mention that you should at least brush twice a day after having your meals. Brushing before meals doesn't make any sense. 3. RINSE RINSE AND RINSE    Cannot stress enough on the importance of rinsing. You eat or drink something (other than water) rinse afterwards. 4. The art of smelling good: KNOW YOUR PERFUMES.

Smelling good always is a task. Believe me it's not easy to smell fresh all the time during your day at work or during your college hours and if your day involves travelling in public transport, then God bless you!! If you can't spare anytime in between then try some of these tips to make your fragrances last longer. 1. TAKE A BATH: Now this goes without saying that you need to wash that stank off. 2. WHAT TO USE IN THE SHOWER: There are two ways to go about it:: If you can afford, try having same kind of scents for all your products, which includes your body wash, moisturizer etc. So that you are building up on the same type of fragrance instead of using different types of scents which will  not be very flattering OR you can use a normal unscented soap/ bodywash follow it up with an unscented /mildly scented  moisturizer then use your favourite perfume. 3. DEODRANTS AND PERFUMES: Depending on how much you sweat or how long you are going to be out, decide whether or n

THE SPRING FLING'19 JAMMU: MY EXPERIENCE

It's been really long since i published something or have written anything for that matter. I have missed this space every minute but i had to take a small break because of my ongoing exams which seem to last forever. But anyways somethings are worth mentioning and  That such one this is the recently organized STYLE CHECK SPRING FLING'19 by Mr. Nikhil and Mrs.Ruchi. First of all i would like to congratulate these two for coming up with these ideas and give jammu the publicity and exposure it deserves. Secondly, how thoughtful of you to include us bloggers in your show. Honestly speaking i wasn't really expecting much from it as i am new to this and never really been inside the social circle so much. I love being a blogger and this was an opportunity i would have never let go. So i went, really nervous(obvious but not for too long). The moment at stepped my foot at the venue i was greeting at the door by the organiser himself Mr.Nikhil, we had a little c
